Spring is possibly the most challenging time for resident and weather forecasters in Kentucky. It's not unusual to have temperatures below freezing with snow and freezing rain one day and the next day have sunny skies and daytime temperatures that feel like summer.
Kentucky can experience many different kinds of severe weather during the Spring. In addition to tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, damaging windstorms, and rain that can cause flooding, a rare snowstorm is possible.
Remember to BE PREPARED for Spring Severe Weather.
